Full-Time Positions Available:

Flight & Critical Care Academy Instructor:

Currently seeking 3-5 highly motivated, including lead and assistant, instructors for our NEW Flight & Critical Care Academy beginning January 6, 2020 in Spring Lake, NC. 

 

We are looking for energetic and professional individuals who are detail oriented, reliable and professional. Top candidates will possess effective classroom management skills, communicate with scholarly professionalism, and take pride in delivering the most current standards and techniques. 

Hours:                                                                                                          

08:00 – 17:00 Monday - Friday

Part-time (permanent)

Individuals may teach up to a maximum of 29hr/week

Qualifications:

  • NC or NR Paramedic

  • Lead instructors must have FP-C®

  • Must have classroom teaching experience

  • Must have Methodology or willing to obtain within 6 months

Preferred:

  • NR Paramedic

  • Associates Degree or higher

  • Level I EMS Instructor or higher

  • Experience in a military environment

  • Experience in flight or critical care setting

 

Pay Range:

Commensurate with education and experience

Moodle Master

Skills Instructors:

Skills/Practical Instructors are qualified (at or above the level for which he/she is teaching) or Certified (based on the requirements of the course) individuals who will be present on site for hands on skills instruction and/or testing.  We are looking for energetic and professional individuals who enjoy the thrill of interpersonal knowledge sharing.  These instructors should be detail oriented, reliable, professional, and capable of managing small diverse groups of students while accomplishing set objectives within a designated time-frame.  Top candidates will posses effective classroom management skills, communicate with scholarly professionalism, and take pride in delivering the most current standards and techniques. These instructors will be contracted to travel to various sites and teach the practical portions of the course.  They will report directly to the Lead Instructor and work with him/her to meet ALL objectives for practical/psychomotor skills up to and including testing procedures.

Examples of Individuals we are looking for:

  • EMT, Paramedic, RN, MD, CCEMT-P, CEN

  • Certified Level I or II EMS Instructor

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

  • Certified Instructor

  • Completion of Educational Methodology

  • Professional in both appearance & communications

  • Willingness to travel
