Course Overview

“The LifeStar EMT Academy Prep Course”

This course is designed to prepare you for the EMT Academy course.
 
In this course you will…
  • review the syllabus for your EMT Academy.
  • review and prepare for the EMT Academy’s dress code.
  • complete the required self-enrollment in North Carolina Office of EMS (NCOEMS) Continuum database.
  • upload required documentation (Driver’s License, HS Diploma or equivalent).
  • order your book and testing components required for the course.
  • complete the required “Traffic Incident Management” course .
 
The EMT Academy Course begins Sept. 12, 2026. You will have access to the EMT course starting after midnight on that day.

  • Sept. 26-27       (Saturday – Sunday)
  • Oct. 9-11          (Saturday – Sunday)
  • Oct. 17-19        (Saturday – Sunday)
  • Oct. 24-25        (Saturday – Sunday)
  • Oct. 31-Nov 1   (Saturday – Sunday)
  • Nov. 6, 7, 8       (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
