Neuro ALS Stroke

This course provides the fundamental knowledge necessary to identify, assess, and manage neurological emergencies with a focus on strokes. The following additional topics will be covered: 

• Identification, assessment, and management of neurological emergencies. 
• Definitions, epidemiology and pathophysiology principles. 
• Common causes of neurological emergencies. 
• Scene safety and scene size-up. 
• Special considerations.
