Obstetrics-ALS

This course provides the fundamental knowledge necessary to understand, manage and provide care for an obstetric patient. The following topics will be covered:

• Identification, assessment, and management of the obstetric patient.
• Basic definitions, epidemiology, anatomy and pathophysiology principles.
• Common complications of pregnancy, labor, and delivery.
• Special considerations.
• Scene safety.
