Pain Management ALS

This course provides the knowledge necessary for the ALS provider to conduct pain management assessments and provide proper pain management to patients of all ages. The following additional topics will be covered:

• Identification, assessment, treatment, and management
• Basic definitions, epidemiology and pathophysiology principles
• Common causes of painful injuries, illness, and conditions
• Scene safety and scene size-up
• Special considerations
