Seizures ALS

This course provides the fundamental knowledge necessary to identify, assess, manage and treat neurological emergencies with a focus on seizures. The following additional topics will be covered:

• Identification, assessment, management, and treatment of neurological emergencies 
• Basic definitions, epidemiology and pathophysiology principles 
• Common causes of neurological emergencies 
• Scene safety and scene size-up 
• Special considerations
