Course Description
LifeStar and 911 e-Learning Solutions are proud to offer an intensive, 6 week hybrid EMT course. This course is perfect for college students attending colleges in and around the Winston Salem area. You can complete the course over the summer and potentially have an opportunity for employment immediately following class!
Student Prerequisites:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Have a HS Diploma, GED, or Higher Degree
- Must have a clean criminal record*
REQUIRED ON SITE DAYS:
- May 30 & 31
- June 6 & 7
- June 13 & 14
- June 20 & 21
- July 1, 2, 3
All on site days will be held at LifeStar Emergency Services in Winston Salem, NC.
*The North Carolina Office of EMS (NCOEMS) will not issue a credential to anyone convicted of certain crimes, especially those of a violent nature and/or those requiring the offender to be listed on a Sex Offender** and Public Protection Registry (See 10A NCAC 13P .0511 Criminal Histories).

**Pursuant to the provisions of G.S. 131E-159(h), the Department shall not issue an EMS credential for any person listed on the Department of Public Safety, Sex Offender and Public Protection Registry, or who was convicted of an offense that would have required registration if committed at a time when registration would have been required by law.
