Course Description

LifeStar and 911 e-Learning Solutions are proud to offer an intensive Hybrid EMT Academy! This course is perfect for college students in and around the Winston-Salem area. You can complete the course this spring and have an opportunity for employment immediately following class! Medical Track students who need clinical hours will be able to start accruing them immediately after class.

We will take registrations through May 7, 2025 or until the class is full.

After May 7, 2025, registrations will be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Student Prerequisites:

  1. Must be 18 years of age
  2. Possess a valid driver’s license
  3. Have a HS Diploma, GED, or Higher Degree
  4. Must have a clean criminal record*

 

REQUIRED ON-SITE DAYS:

  • Friday – Sunday: May 9 – May 11
  • Wednesday & Thursday: May 14 – May 15
  • Friday – Sunday: May 23 – May 25
  • Wednesday & Thursday: May 28 – May 29
  • Friday – Sunday: June 6 – June 9
  • Wednesday & Thursday: June 11 – June 12
  • Friday – Sunday: June 20 – June 22

 

All on-site days will be held at LifeStar Emergency Services in Winston-Salem, NC.

 

*The North Carolina Office of EMS (NCOEMS) will not issue a credential to anyone convicted of certain crimes, especially those of a violent nature and/or those requiring the offender to be listed on a Sex Offender** and Public Protection Registry (See 10A NCAC 13P .0511 Criminal Histories).

**Pursuant to the provisions of G.S. 131E-159(h), the Department shall not issue an EMS credential for any person listed on the Department of Public Safety, Sex Offender and Public Protection Registry, or who was convicted of an offense that would have required registration if committed at a time when registration would have been required by law.
